IMP mod : Peaked FlatTop hairstyle with horns and a tail
Version 2
This mod originated in a desire to do a range of new hairstyles, based on
some I did for Fallout 3, with input from a nice hairstyle in MassEffect. The
new hairstyles are high quality and based on a modeling technique that is only
readily available in Morrowind.
However, after introducing the new styles into my old Pretanic mod, I decided
to add horns, and then tails : Imps.

Me and Runty, with
short cropped ( flat top) peaked (imp) hairstyles. All imp hairstyles have
a ring through the nose. Mohican (typical ridge or like the baddy in The
Scorpion King) and Buzzcut styles are also available, with or without peaks and
horns. Horn length may be much longer - "read the
small print" before choosing.
To get this mod to work you will need :
- The Tribunal Upgrade (the installed ESM,
not the ESP).
- My Morrowind Titanium plugin's resources
- My Morrowind Prison and Torture Museum plugin's resources The ESP may not be compatable regarding uniforms.
- My Seyda Neen Hospitality and Entertainment Training School plugin's
resources The ESP is not compatable.
- The new resources for this plugin. Most resources are
new, a few are corrections.
The
new resources :
- Meshes : Meshes : armor and cloths
- Meshes : Meshes : Hairstyles
- Meshes : Meshes : Body parts
- Meshes : Meshes : statics
- Textures : Icons and Textures
- ESP: The new Pretanic ESP (includes ESP for random tomb items and the ingrediants for
gunpowder)
Additional resources for Version 2:
- Meshes, Textures, Icons : Version 2 Meshes, Textures, Icons
- ESP: The
Version 2 Pretanic ESP
(includes ESP for random tomb items and the ingrediants for gunpowder)
Version 2 adds new Imp clothing - a red tailsuit - and some 1850's
Victorian tailsuits, and lots of models for setting up a Country House such as
suits of armor and hidden doors in walls and bookcases (as used by servants).
The Player may now Go into Service as a Valet (or anything else) at Haddon Hall, More
Glass than Wall, "ancestral pile" of the novo riche Lord Vernon,
Govenor of Pelagiad. To do this you must be on the main quest, and ask Lord
Vernon about the Blades.
Instructions :
If you want to begin from an existing game :
-
Go into console mode.
- Type in
EnableRaceMenu .
- Change Race to
Pretanic.
- Select your style of horns.
- Exit console mode.
-
Re-enter console mode.
- Type in EnableRaceMenu. This will allow you to chain to
the class menu ( you could try EnableClassMenu ). This may also reset
your stats.
- Select class
Slave Imp Valet.
- Exit console mode.
- Speak to
the Captain in Seyda Neen (see below ).
Starting a new game :
- Chose race Pretanic
- Chose your choice for hair and (optional) horns.
- Chose class
Slave Imp Valet
- Go to the Captain, get your package then exit the Captains office.
- Save the game, incase you make a mistake.
- Go back and speak to the Captain :
- Ask him about The Pretaini and the Pretanic
Slave Trade , etc. This will
activate any remaining key dialogues.
- Confirm that you are a slave.
- Confirm that you have horns.
- Confirm that you have a tail.
You are now an Imperial Slave, and will now be branded
and fitted with your tail and some very usefull shackles and neckiron. These
cannot be removed except when wearing approved gear. If there appears to be
a problem with your primary stats, wearing chitin, iron, or steel gauntlets will
allow you to remove the manacles and get attribute healing from any Imperial
Cult Alter (there is another way by asking the Admin Imp's in Pelagaid but it don't
work !!!!! )
What to do next :
- Ask the Captain to change your neck iron ( there are various people who can give you a different
neckiron, like the Slave Trader and the Admin Imp's.
- Visit the Slave Trader near the Light House. He has
three slaves left that he can't sell, and will allow you to play with them.
They will carry your luggage around town.
- If you are an imp, he will offer to sell Runty cheap.
Or, if you can recover the Imp Armor nicked by the local banditi (no prizes for
guessing where they are), you will get Runty for free (and get to keep two
sets of armour). You will have to buy Imp shields and Maces from him or the
Khajit at the Doggy arms Emporium in Balmora.
- Visit the Slave Barracks near the Trade House. You
get your free slave leathers and dress wear here.
- Liberate the Imp armour (buying Spark from the trader helps).
- Obtain Runty and get into the Imp armor. This has
full tail protection. If you loose Runty, drop his owners papers on the
ground and you will get directions as to where he is waiting (dose not always
work in interiors)
.
- Take the guar pack train to Pelagiad, or walk. The Slave Barracks here is far
bigger. There is also top quality tuxedo dresswear for sale.
- Put on your free slave's tailsuit and visit the Town
Admin offices in the Fort (the Local Govenor is a real beaurocrat and an all airs and graces Tuxedo fanatic).
- Put on your White Tie and Tails from the shop and
visit Haddon Hall more Glass than Wall where the Local Govenor lives
(sorry, not built yet
).
- Take Runty to visit his brothers at Balmora Mage's
Guild. If you loose Runty, drop his owners papers on the ground and you
will get directions as to where he is waiting (dose not always work in
interiors) .
- Visit Suran's House of Unearthly Delights (or
debauchery ), and the Men's Playroom and
Dungeon.
DANGER DANGER
DANGER
There is a fatal delayed action loading bug in Pelagiad,
which will kill/disable Runty (and probably the other slaves) perminantly. If
you are approaching the castle and cannot see the front gates (the front gates
are MISSING ),
STOP. DO NOT SAVE THE GAME.
Turn away
(YES Dont look at where they should be) and tell Runty to go to the Slave Barracks.
Join Runty in the Slave Barracks. Then Save The
Game.
When you leave the Barraks, tell Runty to Wait in the side street. Go to main street or
the fort. As soon as the gates appear, you can go back and collect Runty, and
visit the Pub or the Castle or the shops. Exiting the game brings back
the problem, so if you are in a danger area interior, tell Runty
to wait inside while you check out the gates first.
Does not seem to occur when are approching Pelagiad
from another exterior cell, but do not save the game when in view of the
gates
,
This is a delayed action bug meaning that it takes
TWO game save, game reload cycles to kill/disable Runty.,
so make sure you save your game to different save slots in Pelagiad, just incase you
are infected with the
bug.
